BIOGRAPHY
Guy Le Baube was born in France in 1944.
An award winning photographer, Guy Le Baube moved from Paris to New York in 1976. Highly esteemed forhis editorial work in the world-renowned of fashion magazines.
Guy Le Baube's photography has been seen in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Marie-Claire... In the early 90's Guy Le Baube transcended the commercial realm with a very private collection of photographs "Behind the Scene" that won critical acclaim.
Glamorous, sexy and erotic, Guy Le Baube's work is bold and surprising.
His nude portraits are allegorical tales pontuated by a witty, tongue-in-cheek humor.
Guy Le Baube's photographs reveal a sensibility that lies between the sexiness of Helmut Newton and the playfulness of Jacques-Henri Lartigue. His vision ranges from the world seen through the mischievous eyes of Frederico Fellini to the expression seen through the eye of his own chilhood innocence.
His latest collection of images displays the adept skills of a master photographer and creative narrator of intimate life; thrilling, beautiful, touching and playful." Says art critic Alexandre Geoffroy d'Assy.
