BIOGRAPHY

Christopher Woodcock was born in San Francisco, California in 1975.

He graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.

Christopher was selected for the ArtLink@Sotheby's International Young Art program in 2003. The program and catalogue brought his work to the international contemporary art scenes of Moscow, Tel Aviv and Amsterdam. In 2004 he had his first major solo exhibition with Caterina Pazzi Contemporary Art in Rome.

2005 brought about the Adidas publication of  “Bedroom Rockers, Where DJs Call Home,” a 141page hardcover featuring Christopher’s photography. Bedroom Rockers is a limited edition book that reveals the interior spaces of 97 deejays in five cities across the United States.

Bonni Benrubi Gallery of New York City has represented Christopher Woodcock since 2006. His work was exhibited in the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art 2007 Biennial and has been shown internationally at art fairs in Paris and Toronto. Also in 2007, the Douglas Udell Gallery of  Canada began showing his work.
